Bocadillos
710 Montgomery St. (between Jackson & Washington Sts., North beach next to the financial center)
San Francisco, CA 94111 415-982-2622
Bocadillos It's a Spanish inspired tapas bar offering a lot more than just Bocadillos and tapas. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant features many staples from Spain along with Prawns with garlic flakes and lemon confit, caramelized Quayle  Flat iron steak, baby back ribs, lamb chops, eighteen month ham and of course lots of different bocadillos, just to name a small sampling. This is a fairly small restaurant with most seating being communal in style. Unfortunately they don't take reservations and they get quite busy.  Regrettably, a lot of tapas bars are restaurants serving small plates of food with entree prices.  Bocadillos is a little better than that, and the food mixture, quality and ambience can justify a visit. Plan on spending about $75.00 per couple unless you're hungry - If so, double the price. www.bocasf.com
